It’s high time for the coach of U-17 team from Shakhtar Academy, Valeriy Rudakov, to sum up the interim results of the championship. The floor is given to him!

— I evaluate the first half of the season positively. Both my assistant Oleg Pestryakov and me have no objections to the footballers. Everybody worked well during the training and matches. There are five players of Ukraine representative team in our team. The goalkeeper Mykyta Shevchenko and midfielder Sergiy Vakulenko were involved in the youth team. Vyacheslav Churko, who was undoubtedly the best in our team, was performing for Shakhtar-3 successfully, - the coach says.

The players held first four clashes of the season first half at one breath. The matches against fellow-city men from Metalurg and Olympic-UOR turned out to be more difficult. It was a real derby! The best was the game in kharkiv against Metalist. The guys showed not only skills in this games but also character. Rudakov’s charges missed a goal at the very beginning and then were playing in minority for 85 minutes. But still they defeated strong rival.

— Generally, everything was fine. The things that irritated were bad pitch in Lugansk and some referees pitfalls, - the coach tells. – but this is not the main thing. The second half of the season is sure to be interesting. We’ll keep on working!
