Andriy Pyatov: “Now it is CSKA’s turn”

Having beaten Kalmar FF tonight, Shakhtar has secured its qualify for final stage at Copa del Sol. The rival for the main trophy will be known tomorrow. And now Shakhtar’s players, being the qualifiers, will share their impressions about tonight’s game.

Oleksandr Kucher:

—      Oleksandr, what was the most difficult in tonight’s game?
—      Perhaps, to lay barel the rival’s defence. They were good till the first conceded goal, then they started to get nervous, to give the space for our moves, so we could dominate.

—      Due to this win Shakhtar qualified for the next stage. Is it quite natural result, in your opinion?
—      Of course, Shakhtar is the team that set the highest objectives in any tournament, where it takes part. And it does not matter if it is a friendly or a official match.

Andriy Pyatov:

—      Andriy, who would you like to see in the final?
—      Of course, CSKA Moscow! We have reached our aim; we have qualified for the final. Now it is their turn!

—      It seems there were no any troubles from Swedes during the game …
—      Why? I had to join the game too and even left the posts. The rival succeeded o crested several goal-scoring opportunities. In a word, I also was worried a bit.

—      Has a goal scored from off-side spoiled your mood?
—      A little bit. It was not very pleasant.

Mykola Ishchenko:

—      Despite we could control the ball and dominated, the Swedes made a good impression in general. They had high discipline in defence, they also tried to press us hard. So, I would not say, it was too easy for us to gain a win.

—      Did you have another opinion about Kalmar before the game?
—      It is hard to say. We calmed down, having scored an early goal. After this incident, the Swedes succeeded to create something dangerous. But when we scored the second one, the scoreline was quite natural, I think.
