Brandao is saying hello

It was Douglas Costa’s video interview on FC Shakhtar website  http://shakhtar.com/en/news/12403, actually, a formal occasion, that made Brandao contact his former club. It emerged the player was trying not to lose touch with Donetsk, being in France at the moment. He is following the Hirnyky via Internet. 

It is naturally, for a number of reasons Costa’s interview has caught Brandao’s eye. First of all, there is one Brazilian more at Shakhtar appeared. Secondly, the communication manner seemed Marseille’s striker interesting, taking into account a fact that football fans generated the questions themselves. Thirdly, Brandao just missed his fellows much.

 — Please, say hello to all Shakhtar fans, to everyone who remembers me, to all men I have been playing along with, to coaches and staff. My special greetings to Rinat Akhmetov who did a lot for me. Best regards to everyone! You know, the time I devoted to Shakhtar is really special for me. I knew it before, but now it has become clear even more. 

Brandao was interested whether the Club Museum had opened so far.  He also admired Donbas Arena, having watched it on TV and Internet. He promised to arrive in Donetsk as soon as possible  to see all the things with his own eyes. Now Brandao enjoys his appearances for Marseille. In his words, it is very exciting as well as responsible to play in French Championship. And he is happy to refuse those small offers they made, as FC Shakhtar always advised him to hang on for a while to join a really good club. And today former Shakhtar forward feels well and comfortable in Marseille on his new turn of football career. 

By the way, everything you have read before Brandao had said in rather good Russian. Though, while living in Donetsk, he used to be shy and pretend not to know local language well enough. It might be understood as the player’s communication skills did not only fade away but even improved.
