Having won the most difficult match with Metalist, Kharkiv, Hirnyky qualified for mixed-zone somehow too fast and for a while could not quite realize the importance of the victory of such a pivotal game.

Andriy Pyatov:

- Andriy, what happened in that moment when you scored the goal?
- There was a bounce. I bent my body in one direction and the bounce went off in another one… I dunno. Things happen. The ball touched my foot. Okay, that’s nothing, the main thing is that we’re won.

- Did you enjoy the game on the whole?
- Well, I certainly liked the second half. Once we got worked up there was no stopping us. It was a good thing that we had finally summoned our strength.

Mariusz Lewandowski:

- A difficult game. A good rival who made us apply a lot of efforts to win. I wouldn’t say that it’s going to be easier now, but we defeated MEtalist – and this is what matters. It’s bad, of course, that we were the first to concede a goal. We had to launch more attacks and put our backs to it. It was a rough football in general.

- Do you know that it was your 30^th goal during your stay with Shakhtar?
- I thought it was the 31^st… So should I stay or should I go now? (laughs)

- Why? Stay, of course. Whom did you devote the goal to?
- I devote all of my goals to my wife and kiddoes.

- Was your goal a result of a played combination?
- It was not. When a set piece is played everyone is involved. The passing player seeks an open player that can score. There is nothing unusual about that. There are, of course, certain game plans that one better not reveal in front of the cameras. Although, if truth be told, scoring is always a pleasant experience.
