Douglas: two goals within five minutes

This time Mircea Lucescu has put Mykola Ishchenko into the starting line-up. He made a debut in the current domestic campaign this season, appearing as a partner to Dmytro Chygrynskyy in the centre of the back line. Besides, from the very first minutes of the clash Luiz Adriano and Oleksandr Gladkyy has come out on the pitch at once.

2 mins: Luiz Adriano failed to get the ball following Rat’s shot. Then it was Darijo who took an attempt to strike again, though Kyiv side managed to steal the ball.

4 mins: Gladkyy was on the ball picking up speed, when Shershun stole it, preventing Gladkyy’s further moves.

7 mins: Mazilu tried to hit Shakhtar’s goal twice. But Donetsk side defence successfully clinched it.

10 mins: Hubschman made a long-range shot with Reva’s good saving.

13 mins: D. Costa’s pass left without assistance.

16 mins: Fernandinho struck a header following Ishchenko’s pass. Vitaliy Reva was on his spot.

23 mins: Shakhtar’s defence played successfully again, having demolished a possible danger from a wing.

28 mins: Dmytro Chygrynskyy was awarded a yellow card.

31 mins: GOAL: 1-0. Arsenal led the score. Symonenko delivered an opener from a thirty-meter range.

32 mins: The Pitmen struck an immediate equalizer, though the refereeing crew signaled Adriano’s foul committed.

35  mins: Willian was on the ball. He dashed into the penalty area taking a lengthways shot. The rival’s goalkeeper played perfectly.

36  mins: Adriano netted again, but a linesman spotted the offside.

37 mins: Darijo was booked.

38  mins: Following Grytsay’s shot Bartulovic skillfully took a second strike, but too wide.

40  mins: Darijo Srna assisted Gladkyy’s header on the right wing. Reva brilliantly performed his duties.

44  mins: GOAL: 1-1! D. Costa covered Rat’s left wing kick. Taking a second strike, he hammered it into the net!

45+1 mins: GOAL: 1-2 for Shakhtar’s side! The referee awarded a free direct kick, following Symonenko’s foul on Darijo. Douglas Costa stabbed a fantastic shot!

47 mins: GOAL: 1-3! Shakhtar scored again right after the half-time break. Douglas brilliantly assisted Luiz Adriano to strike the goal.

49 mins: Willian got a goal-scoring chance to secure another shot for Shakhtar’s side, though he missed it.

53 mins: Gladkyy headed Rat’s lob – too high.

55 mins: Following a corner, Soava tried to deliver a header, but Razvan Rat skillfully kicked it out of the goal line.

56 mins: Shakhtar’s response turned out to be even more striking.  Douglas managed to overplay the goalkeeper, when Yeshchenko knocked it out of the empty goal.

57 mins: Mircea Lucescu made two substitutions. Stepanenko was brought on as a sub for Hubschman and Aghahowa came out on the pitch instead of Gladkyy.

66 mins: Luiz Adriano was replaced by Kostyantyn Kravchenko.

71 mins: Shatskykh performing a free direct kick, aimed at the back of the net.

79 mins: Both sides got tired. Luksa made an unsuccessful attempt, with Razvan Rat covered him.

82 mins: Reva cleared Kravchenko’s cannon shot with his fists.

86 mins: With just one touch Kravchenko tried to make a pass to Darijo Srna, but the ball got a touch line.

88 mins: Douglas could have had a hat-trick opportunity after  Willian’s right wing pass, though Reva cleared it with his foot.

90+2 mins: Kravchenko could have spectacularly clinched the game, but the ball whizzed a bit wider.

90+3 mins: The referee’s final blow sealed Shakhtar’s 1- 3 win.
