Everybody grabbed a win

Shakhtar rivals for the Champions League Group Stage played their domestic league fixtures last weekend.

Arsenal London beat Blackburn Rovers 1-2 away in their third game of the English Premier League.

Twenty minutes into the match Theo Walcott managed to drill home a cross-shot that broke the deadlock. Seven minutes later Blackburn replied with a Mame Diouf’s strike. The visitors grabbed the winner six minutes after the restart when Andrey Arshavin fired home through a forest of legs. After three fixtures played Arsenal with 7 points gained is second in the table.

Almunia, Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Clichy, Diaby, Song, Fabregas (Rosicky,68), Walcott, van Persie (Chamakh, 34), Arshavin (Wilshere, 83)

SC Braga grabbed a narrow win against Maritimo at the Portuguese Championship Matchday 3. Due to Sílvio’s efforts the squad took the second spot in the domestic table.

FK Partizan (Belgrade) beat OFK Beograd 0-2 in an away fixture. Following two matches played in the Serbian Championship, FK Partizan can boast of the highest possible points scored thanks to Iliev and Tomić’s well-placed shots.
