The accident in the mine of San Jose, which resulted in 33 Chilean miners trapped underground, could not be ignored by FC Shakhtar. Employees of the club, players and coaches really worry about the Chilean miners and believe in their salvation.

In a sign of support for pitiful miners FC Shakhtar sends to Chile a club shirt with number 33 and with the inscription “Creer”, what means “Believe” in Spanish. That shirt will be given to Alexander Taranenko, the ambassador-at-large of Ukraine in Chile. He, in his turn, will give it to rescuers, who have been fighting for the lives of miners for more than three weeks now.
