Yaroslav and Tomas: No Compromises

On Tuesday, September 7, there was a series of national teams’ matches.

Ukraine national team took on Chile in a friendly fixture. Yaroslav Rakytskyy broke the deadlock in the first half after successfully taking a free-kick with assistance by Andriy Shevchenko. Besides, heading towards the end of the match, the Shakhtar defender was shown a yellow card.

Croatia national team played also a draw vs. Greece – 0:0. The Shakhtar’s captain Dario Srna has spent the entire match on the pitch and has been booked in the second half. Eduardo da Silva has also come on the pitch after his replacing Ivica Olic with seventeen minutes to go till the final whistle.

There was also a draw but a more fertile one in a clash between Macedonia and Armenia. The match ended with the score of 2:2. Henrikh Mkhitaryan has played the whole match till the final whistle was blown. Vardan Mynasyan’s lads were twice in front during the match but in both cases they were unable to sustain their lead.

Razvan Rat and his national team played vs. Belarus in Minsk. The final result – 0:0. And Tomas Hubschman's Czech Republic national team succumbed to a 1:0 loss against Lithuania. Sherna’s goal turned out to be crucial in the game.
